Today I begin a new phase in my life
For body, for mind, for baby, for wife
Today I begin with my own end in mind
My dreams they are set, right now is my time
So conquer the sea and shatter the earth
Funny how life can start with a kiss and a birth
And as I drive on in my own chosen way
I'll pay little mind to the nays you may say
So put on my socks and sit back in my chair
Brew this mornings coffee and comb back my hair
Today I begin to carve my own way
It's the same brand new start that I make everyday.
